Since 2020, the L1 Creative Business Accelerator Fellowship has supported the growth of three cohorts of South Side entrepreneurs, selected through competitive open calls. Last year, Soma Gems Jewelry by Joli Chandler was chosen for this 10-month immersive program. Shot and produced by Moll Jean, we collaborated to bring Joli’s story to life — crafting a narrative that wove together multiple shoots, through interviews and a vibrant vox pop/MTV-style approach.
